Hills Machinery has recently completed the acquisition of a new site in Columbia, SC to build a new service facility. Located at the corner of Shop and Atlas Roads, we are 15 minutes from Columbia International Airport and 5 minutes from Downtown Columbia hotels and dining. Construction of the new state of the art facility will begin in November of 2007 with a completion date of April 2008. The new facility will allow the company to continue expanding its service capabilities, both for our rental customers as well as our in house and field service repair work.
2008 brings an additional location in the Charleston, SC market to better service the growing coastal region as well as preparing inventory to be shipped abroad for export. The Charleston location will have a temporary office until construction is completed in spring of 2009. Remote field service technicians are in place to ensure timely response to any problems that our customers need us to work on. We are committed to service excellence today and into the future. As we look forward, we see more than a bigger vision for Hills Machinery; we see a partnership with our customers and a way to help them achieve their goals.
